What's in my Makeup Bag?

  • I ALWAYS keep a small makeup bag in my purse just in case there is an emergency; for example: If my friend invited me to a special event or my boyfriend calls for a spontaneous date night after work! I am obsessed with the cute and inexpensive ones from F21 (similar).

  • My lips get super dry during the winter and cold months and this Aquaphor lip repair ointment is a lifesaver and keep my lips moisturized!

  • I've discovered this new foundation by Covergirl and let me just tell yall, it's amazing! I have normal/oily skin and this keeps my face semi-matte and it has incredible, buildable, coverage.

  • My lashes aren't the longest but this Loreal Telescopic mascara does wonders. Not only does it separate my lashes, it lengthens them and this has become one of my holy grail drugstore mascaras!

  • The Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer has been my go to undereye concealer because I love the coverage it gives without creasing or settling into my fine lines. The ingredients also prevent dark circles and puffiness. (*I also add this Tarte C-Brightener eye cream before my moisturizer to keep my undereyes hydrated and reduce the puffiness!)

  • I use my MAC duo fiber brush to smooth out and blend my bronzer and blush to create a flawless finish! (*Brush was limited edition but here is one in their permanent line) It's also great for quick touch-ups (Rimmel Stay Matte Face Powder)

  • Benefit's Porefessional primer is the most raved about product because it truly does minimize your pores and helps your makeup hold up and last hours. I absolutely love this to wear underneath my foundation.

  • As for my cheeks, I use all kinds of bronzers and blush from different brands but the Lorac Tantalizer and Tarte Amazonian Clay blush are some of my newest favorites! The bronzer adds the right amount of glow and the this Tarte blush adds a perfect touch of color to my cheeks!

  • I normally prefer pinky or nude shades for my lips because they keep them pretty neutral. I've recently discovered this new Maybelline lipstick in Nude Lust and it's a great dupe for 'Brave' or 'Blankety' by MAC! (*This Buxom gloss in White Russian adds a tingly sensation and is a beautiful nude shade.)

  • Urban Decay's Naked Basics palette is small and sleek enough to fit in my makeup bag and it's been among my favorites for the last year and half! It comes with 5 matte and 1 shimmery shade and adds a great amount of color and dimension to your eyes if you're on the go. I love the Urban Decay Naked palettes!
